KALMAR Shanghai Representative Visited Factory to Inspect a 70 Ton Crane Hook Group

On April 21, 2026, a representative from KALMAR Shanghai visited our factory in Changyuan, Xinxiang, to inspect a 70 ton hook group. The visit followed previous orders and allowed both teams to review the product and its inspection results in person.

Here are the product details of the hook group:

Weight: 70 tons
Material: 35CrMo high-strength alloy steel
Duty Class: M6
Quantity: 1 set

The visit began in the production workshop, where our team introduced the manufacturing environment and quality control procedures. The client then moved to the inspection area to observe the checks on the hook group.

The on-site inspection of the hook head covered dimensional checks, hardness testing, ultrasonic testing (UT), and magnetic particle testing (MT).

The inspection continued with hardness testing and penetrant testing (PT) of the cross beam.

The team also carried out visual and ultrasonic inspections of the welds, followed by hardness testing of the pin shaft.

Most inspection items met the required standards. The team identified a few areas that need further work, including weld repairs and burr removal. We completed these corrections and checked the finished hook group against the applicable quality requirements before delivery.
