Notes

The selection coefficients for sheaves and balance sheaves differ depending on the type of crane, and calculations must be performed based on the specific circumstances:

For hoisting and boom hoisting/luffing wire ropes used in general cranes and hoists, bending fatigue is often the primary form of wire rope damage when single-layer winding is employed. The above coefficients are particularly recommended to limit radial pressure on the wire rope in the rope entry and exit areas.
