Die Kopfbreite der Kranschienen sollte der Radgr\u00f6\u00dfe entsprechen. Ihr Querschnittsdesign unterscheidet sich von dem herk\u00f6mmlicher Eisenbahnschienen. Der obere Kr\u00fcmmungsradius der Schiene ist anders als bei Eisenbahnschienen, w\u00e4hrend die Breite und H\u00f6he der Unterseite kleiner sind. Aufgrund ihrer gr\u00f6\u00dferen Biegesteifigkeit ist sie widerstandsf\u00e4higer und kann einem gr\u00f6\u00dferen Raddruck standhalten.
