Overview

The LX underslung overhead crane is suitable for working under the conditions of working level A3~A4, working environment temperature -25℃~+40℃, relative humidity ≤85% and no flammable, explosive and corrosive medium environment. The lifting weight is 0.5 to 10 tons, and the span is 3 to 22.5 meters.

The main components are: bridge frame, crane operating mechanism, electric hoist, and electronic control system.

Introduction

To install an underslung cranes, the roof structure must have the ability to withstand the weight that imposed by the underslung cranes itself and the load. Simply attached to the existing roof structure, this special kind cranes eliminate the need for runway support columns. This way, the entire building floor area is available for production. Peripheral areas of the workshop can be served by using the girder overhangs to extend the travel range of the hoist trolley beyond the runways. Optional latching devices make it possible to transfer the hoist trolley from the crane girder to a branch track and back without having to deposit the load.

Top Running vs. Under Running

  • Support structure: Under running cranes can be suspended directly from the roof structure or other overhead beam. Top running cranes need independent columns to support the end trucks and the bridge beam.
  • Capacity: As underslung cranes are suspended from the roof structure, they are available only on lighter capacities, usually less than 10 tons. The capacities of top running overhead cranes are much larger. The safe working load of top running cranes can even up to 550 t.
  • Configuration: Because of the light capacity, underslung cranes usually adopt the single girder configuration, although double girder under running crane is also available in some special cases. But the top running overhead crane equipped with double girder is more frequent.
  • Utilization of space. Something unique to under running cranes is their ability to make full use of the available height and the tight space. They can ensure efficient material handling even in plant where very little space is available.

The electric suspension crane bridge frame is mainly composed of main beam and end beam device. The main beam is the main load-bearing component of the hoist crane, and its lower flange is the electric hoist running track.

Electric suspension cranes are generally designed with 500mm, 750mm, 1000mm cantilevers according to different spans. When the electric hoist is fully loaded to the cantilever end, negative wheel pressure is not allowed on the opposite side.

The end beam device is located directly above the span of the two ends of the main beam, and is connected to the main beam through a single-hole hinged connecting plate. Rubber buffers are installed at both ends of the beam to avoid structural damage due to collision.

The balance shaft connection structure is adopted between the main beam and the end beam, which is simple in structure, convenient to install, and convenient for transportation and storage.

The electric suspension overhead crane trolley running mechanism consists of two sets electric trolleys and two sets driven trolleys, which are connected to the end beam connecting plate by two bolts under the wall panel.

Motor

The motor adopts ZDY series conical rotor brake motor. The motor has the characteristics of good heat dissipation, long service life, safety and reliability.

Driving device

The body and cover of the drive unit are cast from gray iron HT200 with good anti-vibration performance. The gears and gear shafts are 40Cr forgings, and the hardness is HB235~269.

Wheel set

The wheel set is formed by die forging of 45# steel, and the heat treatment hardness is 300~380HB.

The wheel axle is made of 45# steel, and the heat treatment hardness is 235~269HB.

Electric hoist is to be used on underslung overhead crane, each electric hoist will perform dynamic and static load test, rise and drop pressure tests. The baking paint process is adopted to enhance the adhesion of the paint film and improve the appearance quality. Assembly line ensures product quality.

Control mode

Pendant panel, Remote control. The crane can also be equipped with two sets of operating devices, namely: ground + remote control .

However, due to safety issues, the two operating modes can only be switched and cannot be used at the same time.

The control circuit voltage is generally AC 36V safe voltage.

According to customer requirements, the power supply can be designed as a three-phase electrical control system below 690V and a frequency of 50-60HZ.
